As part of the Natur’ELLES project, SOCODEVI developed a women’s leadership program aimed at strengthening women’s capacities. In this context, IISD delivered a training module on photography and visual storytelling. The goal is to empower women with skills to conduct awareness campaigns and advocacy for environmental issues and their inclusion in decision-making bodies. This session will showcase stories of resilience and amplify women’s voices through visual narration.
Ousmane Sambou is a communications specialist at IISD. Previously, he served as the Francophone Communications Coordinator at Afrobarometer. He also has experience working with United Nations agencies in the areas of partnerships and knowledge management.
